How To Make A Lavender & Oatmeal Goats Milk Soap

Updated: May 1

Have you ever thought about making your own soap but been too nervous to try it? Melt and Pour soap is a great option for beginners to advanced soap makers. The recipe I am going to share today is for a Lavender & Oatmeal Goats Milk soap. This soap is super easy to make, nourishing to your skin and makes a great gift. I am choosing to use a goats milk melt and pour base but you could make this recipe even easier by using an Oatmeal melt and pour base allowing you to skip the step of adding in the oatmeal like I have done in this recipe.

I chose to do oatmeal and lavender as they are both super soothing to the skin making them perfect to use in soap.

For this recipe you will need:

A silicone soap mold

Microwave safe container

16oz Goats milk melt and pour soap base

1 TSP Colloidal oatmeal

40 Drops lavender essential oil

Purple soap colorant

I hope you give this recipe a try and love it as much as I do! Store soap in a cool dry location and I suggest packaging in shrink wrap to avoid any glycerin dew on your soap:)
