DIY Snake Halloween Wreath

Halloween is just around the corner so it's time to break out your spookiest decor. Though I am well past the trick or treating age, I still enjoy putting up Halloween decorations. This year I decided to make a DIY Snake Halloween wreath for my front door and up the spookiness factor a notch:)
For this DIY you will need:
A black wreath( I used an 18 in grapevine wreath that I spray painted black)
Rubber snakes(I picked mine up from the dollar store but I have linked similar ones from Amazon)
Spray paint your grapevine wreath with black spray paint and allow to dry completely.
Next spray paint your rubber snakes with the black glitter spray paint. It will take a few light coats to cover completely.
Once your wreath and your snakes are completely dry, start hot gluing your snakes to your wreath. I found it easiest to apply the glue on the back of the snakes and then place them on the wreath. I used a popsicle stick to push down on the snakes to avoid getting my fingers in the hot glue.
Once your wreath has cooled it is ready to hang:)
I love how the wreath turned out and think it is a fun take on a Halloween wreath. If you make this wreath tag me on Instagram @essentially.tonya so I can see and share your wreaths too:)
