Autumn Spice Bath Whipped Body Scrub

If you have been looking for a great exfoliator for the dry Fall and Winter months, look no further. I have a brown sugar and coffee whipped body scrub that I think you are going to love.

This scrub not only exfoliates but it cleanses and moisturizes too! Multi use products are the best aren’t they? The bath butter base is the cleanser, exfoliation comes from the coffee and brown sugar and then the carrier oils are the moisturizers. You also get the amazing scent of Fall with the essential oils used in this scrub, plus the added benefits of the essential oils themselves. Sounds pretty perfect doesn't it? On top of all of that, it is really easy to make and would also make a great gift for the holidays.

For this recipe you will need:

3oz Carrier Oil (I did 2oz Sweet Almond Oil & 1 oz Olive Oil)

5.5oz Brown Sugar

3TBS Coffee Grounds (used is best so they don’t bleed as much)

Air tight containers(mine came from IKEA and were super affordable)

To make:

Place your whipped body butter base and oils in a stand mixer. Whip for around 5 minutes. Mixture should have increased in size and have fluffy texture at this point.

Next add in your brown sugar, coffee grounds and essential oils. If you are using a preservative you would add it in here as well and then whisk again until everything is well incorporated. The scrub should have a fluffy texture that can form peaks.

Place in an airtight container to store. I added some melt and pour soap leaves to the top of the scrub for a little added flair:)

To use place small amount of scrub in your hand and then rub into your skin. Then rinse and pat your skin dry.

I hope you try making this scrub and love it as much as I do!
