5 Essential Oils That Should Be In Your Home

Today I am sharing 5 essential oils that I think every home should have. These oils are affordable and cover a wide range of uses and benefits and are a great starting point for building up your essential oil toolkit.

  1. Lavender essential oil - Lavender is very well know for it's calming and sleep support benefits, but did you know it's also great for head tension, soothing minor skin irritations like bug bites, fighting redness on your skin, soothing minor burns and cuts, keeping bugs at bay and more?

  2. Lemon essential oil - Lemon essential oil is natures magic eraser. It not only cleanses but you can use it to remove sticker residue, uplift your mood, fight odors, brighten whites and aid in digestion and immune support.

  3. Peppermint essential oil - Peppermint essential is my go to for nauseous feelings, as well as being a general stomach soother, it is great for focus and helping to wake you up at the midafternoon slump and hello, it smells amazing.

These three oils together are also a powerhouse for seasonal allergies as they all have anti histamine properties. I roll them on with a carrier oil and diffuse this combo anytime I feel my allergies starting to flair up.

4. Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil- There are several different varieties of Eucalyptus but I personally prefer the Globulus variety. Eucalyptus is very soothing for congestion and other respiratory issues along with being able to help with muscle pain as it has anti inflammatory properties. Eucalyptus can also fight odors and act as a stain remover for your laundry.

5. Thieves essential oil blend - This blend is hands down one of the best available for overall immune support. It is made up of powerful essential oils like clove, cinnamon, lemon & rosemary. I use this blend in my diffuser as well as in a daily immune support roller. The thieves blend also is great for respiratory support and pairs well with lavender to help create a calm atmosphere.

If you don't already have these oils, then I highly suggest picking them up. You will be amazed at the effectiveness and the amount of uses and benefits you will get out of these 5 little bottles:)
